Matchcast respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and respond to valid takedown requests promptly. This page explains how to submit a notice of alleged copyright infringement and how the counter-notification process works.

To submit a DMCA notice, email [email protected] with the subject line beginning “[DMCA NOTICE]” and include all elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A) — see Section 2 above. We aim to respond to valid notices within 5 business days.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. Unless that party files an action seeking a court order against you within 10 business days of receiving the counter-notification, we may restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days.
Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), Matchcast has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to the service for any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
We aim to acknowledge and act on valid DMCA notices within 5 business days of receipt. Complex matters or notices that lack required elements may take longer. We may, in our discretion, contact you for clarification before acting on a notice.
